The Committee to Elect Robert J. Lovero filed its first quarterly report on April 1st, showing expenditures of $335,134.

This election season saw an extraordinary number of negative citywide political mailers against Lovero’s opponents, only some of which contained a legal disclaimer attributing the mailers to the Committee to Elect Robert J. Lovero.

Among the largest expenses in the April 1 report were $179,978 to Red Horse Strategies, a marketing agency in Brooklyn, NY; $30,788 to Paisan’s Pizzeria & Bar for a hall rental for a fundraiser; $22,500 to Breaker Press for printing;  $20,102 to Southwest Regional Publishing for printing;  and $14,000 to R2 Message and Media for consulting.
